Supporting Every Journey: Compassionate Electrolysis Care for the LGBTQS2+ Community

Inclusive and Welcoming to Everyone

We want to help make your transition as smooth as possible. In addition to offering permanent hair removal, we also try our best to make our clinic a safe and welcoming place for you.

We have worked with many transgender clients over the years. Whether it’s facial hair, body hair, or hair removal in preparation for GCS, we have the expertise and care that you can trust.

Every body is different, but generally full facial hair removal can take time. This means you will be with your electrologist a lot, both during the clearing phase and in the following phases of hair removal. We recommend scheduling a free consultation so you can meet with our staff and decide if we’re a good fit for you and your needs. It’s an important decision and we want you to make a choice you’ll be happy with for the rest of your life.

Hormones (HRT) will change your hair growth. Talk with us about this. It’s important to know what to expect and what hair removal will likely be required and what won’t. Also, scheduling your hair removal based on how long you have or even haven’t been on HRT will ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible for you, and this is something we can discuss as well.

We’re here for you during your transition. If you choose to undergo GCS, we can help with any hair removal needs that arise before or after the procedure.

In addition to these services, we are happy to discuss any other needs you might have.

Electrolysis is a popular choice for those looking to alleviate their dysphoria because it is the ONLY way to permanently remove unwanted hair.

Hair can be removed from all areas of the face and body, so no matter what hairs are contributing to your dysphoria, we are here to help!

We are also registered with the Provincial health Authority to provide pre-surgical hair removal for people preparing to undergo gender confirmation surgery.

Electrolysis Before Surgery

When preparing for a gender conformation surgery, it is vital that effective, thorough, permanent hair removal be performed by a licensed professional in order to avoid complications such as pilonidal cysts (see image). These occur when a hair grows deep inside the skin, causing an accumulation of infected tissue, inflammation and pain.
